9dots Review of The Year

Friday, 18 December 2015

2015 has been an incredibly successful year for the 9dots team. January kicked off with an engagement for one of the team members, followed by another first-time homeowner, 2 weddings and a baby later in the year! We’ve been busy! The team Christmas party with our partners 2 Circles was a great event to finish off the year and it was great to be recognised as 2 Circles Partner of the Year yet again.

As official partners to the Sick Kids Foundation for 2015, September saw our White Rafting Day take place on the River Tummel attended by some of our customers and we would like to thank all those that took part and helped us to raise over £13,000 for the charity this year. We would also like to thank attendees at our Annual Golf Day for the generous donations to the charity and for helping us have a fun day. What looked like being a washout actually turned out to be a great day of both playing and watching golf. First it was the opportunity for a highly competitive Matchplay Stableford, followed by a trip to Gullane for the pro-am event of the Scottish Open.

In other news the team saw huge success in our key product areas, helped by the government funded Broadband Voucher Scheme.

Connectivity vouchers

The £3,000 broadband voucher scheme enabled us to secure over £125,000 of Government funding to help both new and existing clients install Superfast broadband connections. The improved resiliency and capacity is helping them to capitalise on the benefits of SIP and hosted services meaning they are no longer tied to the office and have the freedom to implement fantastic disaster recovery solutions.

Mobiles

2015 also saw a new agreement with mobile network provider EE meaning we can now offer a unique network guarantee to allow our clients to pick and choose networks for individual users without the hassle of multiple bills and points of contact. This new agreement means we can put different people on either EE, Vodafone or O2 and have one simple bill, with one point of contact.

Thanks again for your continued loyalty and support and on behalf of the team we would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
