Welcome to the July 2020 edition of the 2Circles Consulting newsletter where you will find all of the latest company and industry happenings, along with some wellness tips we would like to share.

A leap into the future

Technology is changing and adapting at such a speed that is quite hard to believe.
Who would have known back in 1983 that the internet would turn into such an extravagant, complex piece of work upon which many in the present day would rely on for the vast majority of daily tasks?
And who could have guessed the extent to which telephone technology would evolve in such a short span of years?
The exciting news is that technology will always continue to develop, and we are bound to end up being witness to some of the most amazing creations of all time - that is, if we haven't already. Check out this interesting article featuring predictions about technology in the very near future;

In times like these in particular, we are so fortunate to live in a world where technology is so advanced that most of us can still carry on working and stay connected to one another. When life slowly phases back to normality, one thing is for sure - we will never forget the WFH months. Being able to still attend meetings with colleagues, customers, business partners and really anyone you need to whilst still being safe and in the comfort of your own home is definitely something to be grateful for, not to mention the odd virtual 'pub quiz' with friends and family over technologies like Microsoft Teams and Zoom when it was time to wind down.

Working from home also highlights the importance of having a strong and stable internet connection, especially when having to share bandwidth with the entire household. Luckily, we have been able to help many businesses out with this and provide bespoke mobile data packages to ensure the entire household is kept happy and no one has to sacrifice their Netflix time due to too many users on the connection.

If you feel you could benefit from any of our connectivity options and would like to know more about how we can shape it to you, please get in touch - we look forward to hearing from you.

Fun tech facts;

#1 - On average, around 547,000 new websites are created on a daily basis

#2 - 86% of people plug their USB's in the wrong way at first attempt (We can definitely believe this - guilty!)

#3 - 92% of the entire world's currency is digital
The Big Switch-Off

The year 2025 is going to be an extremely important and significant year. 'Is it because we will be an astonishing quarter through a decade?' you ask. No, although that is a scary thought. The year 2025 will go down in history as the year that ISDN and PTSN were no more.

When these technologies were first introduced, they were revolutionary and have served a great purpose for so many years, however the time has come to make way for the new technology of today's modern world.
That is why in 2016, BT announced that they would be completely switching off these telephony systems and why it is vital for businesses to switch to IP based systems as soon as possible, to allow time to adapt to the new systems and be ahead of the game.
2025 might seem like a long time away however it makes sense to switch now.
Daunting? It doesn't have to be. Our team are here for you and here to answer any queries you may have and help you seamlessly switch from the old, tired systems to a future-proofed VoIP system, stellar technology that will make you wonder why you didn't switch sooner.

Fresh Faces

We would like to introduce the brand new member of our team - Simon Byers. Simon, having only had to move up a flight of stairs to join us, has been training hard over the last few weeks with our team to learn the 2Circles ways.
His true 'Gift of The Gab', willingness to learn and succeed, and bubbly personality have already allowed him to establish himself as a strong member of the team. We are excited to see what the future holds for him at 2CC and know he will go on to do many great things, as he already is beginning to.
Welcome, Simon.

As well as a new Communications Consultant for our team, we have also received news that we are to be getting another new addition to our 2CC family in November. We are over the moon for Irena and are excited to support her on this incredible journey.
Congratulations Irena!

Starting your day, the right way

For some of you, early mornings will be a thing of the past, almost forgotten about over the last few months as you indulge in your lie-ins, so as the world begins to regain some sense of normality and business begins to open up, it can be difficult to adapt to an early rising routine to ensure you get to the office at the early hours of the morning. Here are some things we think you will find helpful that will help you to have a better set u morning to prepare yourself for a fulfilling day:

Exercise - The best thing you can do to get yourself pumped up for the day is to get your blood flowing. Whether this is a run, walk, cycle or some yoga - it pays off to get moving in the morning. Check out this amazing article which explains all of the benefits of an AM Workout.

A Morning Routine - Having a routine in the morning makes it so much easier to get out of bed and ready for the day ahead, it certainly beats rushing around and putting yourself in a panic. Something that we have found to be very effective for a nice morning routine is the podcast series below;

Tyler Brown's Soothing voice over the calming instrumental music is an immense thing to wake up to. As he guides you through this morning routine with stretches and encouragement, you will slowly start to feel more and more awake, getting you out of bed and in a positive mindset to start your day strong and motivated.
