Welcome to the May 2021 edition of our 2CC newsletter, where we will fill you in on all the latest happenings in our business and industry.

May is such an exciting month for us here at 2Circles Consulting - it is the month where as well as continuing to help our customers with all of their telecoms needs, we have a special focus on mobiles.

Since lockdown and the rapid increase in people working from home, we have seen more and more people move to Unlimited Data tariffs. What is your favourite holiday destination?
Thailand. I can’t get enough of the food, happy people, comfy clothes and warm ocean. Stick me on one of their small islands and I’m a happy girl.

What is your biggest challenge you have overcome?
Wow, life is full of challenges and I’ve definitely overcome my fair share of them. Whether it was moving my whole world to a new continent on my own, or making an active effort face the facts and focus on my personal growth to become the best version of me I can be.
However I think the biggest and most important challenge to overcome is the challenge of the future!

Little known fact?
I play piano and the ukulele.

If you could be any animal in the world, what would you be? And why?
Definitely a monkey. I could do with a tail to help me hold onto more things; I also would love to have their athletic capabilities!

What is your favourite thing about Telecoms?
I love that Telecoms is all about connectivity. Bringing people together and making life easier. I think life can be hard enough, so every little bit helps. And Telecoms is a big part of that, which is something that cannot be undervalued.

What is your favourite mobile handset?
I’m an Android girl through and through. Love myself a Samsung Note.

What is your favourite app on your phone?
WhatsApp is my go-to app to connect with my family who are spread far and wide! But after that, Google Podcasts is my true love.

You are a new addition to a crayon box, what colour would you be? And why?
Green. I’m a big fan of all things plant orientated, and green reminds me of this. It also represents growth which is something I am constantly striving after. Keep learning, keep growing and keep going!

If you were a shape, what shape would you be? And why?
I’d probably be that star shaped block your toddler is trying to shove into a square hole. I’ve always been a little different and I’m not one who’s willing to change my shape to fit the mould. But I’ll shine away while people try.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be? And why?
I would love to be able to pause time! There is so much to do and so little time to get it all done. I would be happy adding a couple of hours to my day.

O2 and Vodafone Coverage of 5G

It’s Mobile May here at 2Circles Consulting and we are very excited with the new partnership between O2 and Vodafone.

Earlier in the year the airwaves that will create faster mobile services for indoor, outdoor, rural and urban areas, as well as speed up the arrival of 5G were auctioned off, raising £1.3bn for the Government. This auction saw the Connectivity powerhouses EE, Three, O2 and Vodafone all walking away with shares which will enable them to grow their 5G Networks.

At the end of April 2021 it was announced that Vodafone and O2 have now joined forces combining their shares in an effort to improve their 5G Coverage.
Committed to responsibly and securely improving the network experience for all their customers across the UK, there is much excitement around the prospects of Vodafone’s and O2’S 5G network.

Working with Vodafone and O2, 2Circles we can’t wait for the 5G network rollout which will enable us to match our clients with the best and most effective network services and mobiles to match their needs. With this new partnership, we can help Vodafone and O2 customers to see improved signal, better mobile services, high speed connectivity, lower latency, as well as new opportunities for the selling of products and services.

Customer Spotlight - Vesta

The world is finally opening up and things are looking bright! With all the excitement about getting out and about once again, we thought that this month would be a great time to feature and celebrate our friends at Vesta.

Situated on Queensferry Street, Edinburgh, they are a great restaurant to keep in mind when you start exploring our city once more. With local craft beers, inventive cocktails, delectable wines, and fresh seasonal food they really are worth supporting.

In addition to tasty plates and thirst-quenching drinks, Vesta has a heart of gold. Every Monday afternoon between 3-5pm they open their doors wide, serving a two-course meal to people experiencing homelessness.
Working together with Social Bite, they fund this work with an amazing Pay-It-Forward programme. With “Pay it forward” cards on every table or by using the allocated tab on their website, you can leave a donation anywhere from upwards of £2. You can also pay forward the cost of lunch, dinner or even a simple cup of coffee.

We here at 2Circles Consulting are delighted to call Vesta both friends and clients. We could not be happier helping them with their connectivity which allows them to facilitate such a great community of helping hands.
So as we start to step outside once more, why not show up and support this local business, reach out to our cities vulnerable and even try what is rumoured to be the best brunch on the West End!
